Radcliffe Labour out in force!
Labour councillors and activists were out in force in Radcliffe on Saturday, listening to residents concerns and taking up their issues.
Almost 20 activists went doors knocking around the Riverside Estate of Dumers Lane, Withins Lane and Bury Road.
Radcliffe East Councillor Nick Parnell said:
“It was great speaking to residents about some of the positive things happening in the centre of Radcliffe surrounding the opening of the New Market which will take place at the start of December. This will be followed by a new bus station with plans for a new swimming pool and leisure facility.
“All this in a time of swingeing Tory cuts. We will be out and about again in the next couple of weeks to listen to what people have to say.”
